Many of you may know that November is National LifeWriting Month, and the month of the National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) challenge to write a novel, a memoir, or other long work, in 30 days. Some of you have done this before–you “win” if you complete 50,000 words in the month. It’s a great accomplishment to achieve when and if you are ready for it.
During November, many writers do choose to take the NaNoWriMo challenge to write a book in 30 days, with the understanding that the 30 days of writing will likely yield a bad first draft. Nina Amir is going to talk about the preparation needed to accomplish a good first draft during that month.
How many of you are taking up the challenge in November to write your memoir? Any kind of writing is fine—it’s a goal oriented month geared to getting a lot of writing done.
Some writers love the challenge and their goal is to get all those words down on the page, while others prefer to adapt the focus of that month’s structure to suit their own needs. You get to choose how to stimulate yourself write more without going crazy in your busy life!
During Nina’s teleseminar you will learn:
- The necessary research you must do before you write a word.
- How to never stare at a blank screen.
- How to use your writing time effectively.
- Why you must master both your psychology and physiology to succeed at a 30-day challenge (or write a book).
- The one thing you need if you want to get from idea to finished manuscript (and published book).
